Peter Polachi is a Partner at Polachi, the leading provider of Access Executive Search™ services to technology, clean tech, venture capital and private equity clients. A seasoned executive search consultant, Peter's practice is focused on recruiting CEOs, their direct reports, and board directors for both public and private technology companies.

Prior to co-founding Polachi in 2002 with his brother Charley and partner Susan Mills, Peter began his search career in 1995 with Fenwick Partners, which was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 1998. While at Heidrick & Struggles he served as a senior partner in the International Technology practice, where he successfully completed dozens of executive searches for organizations ranging from raw start-ups to multinationals and Fortune 500 companies.

Earlier in his career, Peter served as the Vice President of Eastern Operations for Resumix (now Monster). Prior to joining Resumix, he served as the Vice President of Business Development for Health Payment Review (HPR) where, as the sixth employee to join HPR, he was an integral part of the executive team.

Peter has also held various senior sales and marketing positions at venture capital funded software companies QSM and Integral Systems. Additionally, he worked for Data General where he held progressively senior management assignments in Sales Administration, Information Systems and Human Resources.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The College of Holy Cross and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Inc. (ACG). He is frequently quoted in leading business and technology publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CIO, InformationWeek and The Boston Business Journal.
