Jim Poe is a Partner at Polachi, the leading provider of Access Executive Search™ services to technology, clean tech, venture capital and private equity clients. Having worked in the retained executive search business since 1986, Jim’s practice is focused on CEO and other senior management team searches for emerging growth and established businesses in clean tech, software, communications, electronics, as well as semi-conductor industry segments. Jim has been one of the leaders in the Polachi clean tech practice and is also actively involved in the New England Clean Energy Council’s Fellows Program and Green Tie Gala.

Prior to joining Polachi Jim worked with technology companies as a managing director in the firm of Nagler, Robins & Poe. Before that, he spent three years at Fenwick Partners and another three years at Gustin Partners, both high-technology-focused executive search firms.

Throughout his career in executive recruiting, Jim has worked closely with investors and senior client executives in both emerging growth companies and large organizations to help them build superlative management teams.

Before entering the executive search field, Jim worked for seven years in a very rapidly growing management consulting organization. He has successfully completed assignments for chief executives and for leaders of most functional areas for software, Internet, networking, communications, technology consulting, and systems integration companies.

Jim received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
