Hale Cochran is a Senior Advisor at Polachi, the leading provider of Access Executive Search™ services to technology, clean tech, venture capital and private equity clients. Hale also serves as the Managing Director of Access Search Partners, a partnership of five leading global technology executive search firms, Braithwaite Steiner Pretty in Asia Pacific, Gillamor Stephens in Europe, Polachi in the Eastern United States, Schweichler Price Mullarkey & Barry (SPMB) in the Western United States and the Stonewood Group in Canada.

Hale has over 30 years experience in the high-technology, information services and manufacturing industries. His search practice has focused on recruiting CEOs and senior functional executives for early-stage, high-growth or turnaround technology companies.

Prior to teaming with Polachi, Hale was an independent business consultant. Before that, Hale was a senior partner at Heidrick & Struggles in the high-technology search practice. Prior to 1998, when Heidrick & Struggles acquired Fenwick Partners, he was a senior partner at Fenwick Partners where he played a major role in the company's growth and success.

Earlier in his career Hale founded JobLine, a computer-based recruiting service. Prior to starting JobLine he founded Cochran, Cochran & Yale, a high-technology recruiting firm based in Rochester, New York.
Hale holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and a Masters degree in Business Administration (Executive Development Program) from the University of Rochester. His research has been cited in industry leading publications such as Mass High Tech, The Sun-Sentinel, The Virginian-Pilot, and The Grand Rapid Press.
